Shibuya Scramble Crossing has become one of the iconic symbols of modern Tokyo and is a must-see for both foreign and domestic visitors to the capital. It's fascinating just to watch this human wave in motion. A crowd of approximately 3,000 people effortlessly weaves its way across the street each time the trafffc light turns green. Every day, about half a million people join the scramble. Stand there long enough and you'll begin to wonder how no-one bumps into anyone. But when you join the horde, somehow it all makes sense, like some sort of divine choreography.
